Central-Northern Italy. Its D.O.P. origin zone is the Po Valley and also extends to include the valleys of the rivers that pass through the Po Valley.
This is one of Europe's most ancient cheeses and is still produced according to traditional handcrafting methods and under the protection of the Guardianship Consortium.

Produced using partially skimmed cow's milk. A hard cheese that undergoes long and attentive ageing and has a fine grain and straw-yellow color. Full and refined taste with unmistakable flavor.

DINING SUGGESTIONS:
Grana Padano is exceptional in the kitchen as well, perfectly adapting to all types of recipes ranging from hors d'oeuvres to desserts. When enjoyed by itself it prefers wines that are not too dry, slightly fruity sparkling wines and Italian spumanti.
